Paton & Son Excavating and Landscaping, LLC is a small sitework contractor local to the Hudson Valley and Catskills region of New York State. Formed in 2020, Trevor and Evan Paton, a father and son duo, set out to start this company after working for many years in various phases of the design, management, engineering and construction industries.
We are happy to offer our community a variety of services that are customizable to each individual project. We specialize in excavation, land grading, and septic installation, but also offer a wide range of expertise for all other phases of site work.

Hardworking, reliable and no surprises. They took out two layers of sidewalk and a cement slab under our fuel tank. Replaced the cement slab and sidewalk and did an awesome job. Worked hard every day. Completed it fast in the July heatwave. Replanted grass where needed. Left over gravel they left for our driveway. So pleased!
